I’ve been roundly admonished for not posting, so here’s a post. I’ve been working on this picture for a while, but not in any concentrated way!
I’m not sure what it means either — the drawing was largely random, whatever my brain felt like doing at the time until the sheet was full. For some reason there are no hippos in there at all.
For those of you desperately looking for the joke, I have to say there isn’t one. Unless the joke is those governments which call themselves “democracies”.

So if you ‘ve been reading through email or web syndication (rss or atom, for example) and you didn’t get a comic picture related to Hallowe’en, then you MISSED OUT, and you’ll see the picture only if you visit the Invisibules website. However, in compensation, you’ve already seen next week’s punchline, which the others didn’t. Personally, I blame Bule.

Gosh readers! The big day is approaching fast and I’ll be moving a quarter of a mile down the road. Thanks to the efficiency of modern day telephone exchanges I won’t have an internet connection for a while. The point of this is just to say that though the comics should continue to appear as normal (they are waiting in an automated queue) I don’t know when I’ll be back on-line to be amused by your comments. But please continue to comment away, I will treat them as house-warming gifts when I’m finally reconnected.
