Knee: That's a grand gesture, Itchy! Are you going to have yourself frozen? Or preserved in formalin?
Itchy: [Standing underneath the T. Rex skeleton] Actually, I was hoping to be fossilised.
Lunchtime doodle
I think this doodle creature was inspired by one of the characters in Karen’s show.
I was playing with new toys today, especially my dip pen and ink. So here’s a cartoon for #inktober2018
Here’s something I found coming out of my sketchbook last weekend, sitting quietly in Sylvie’s Café with a hot drink and a slice of cake. Not sure where it came from. Or where it’s going.
Happy Halloween!
Itchy is just being himself today. I feel rather sorry for Knee, but what can you do?
Happy Hallowe’en to you. We were sitting in Broad Street in the sunshine today, next to the man drumming up support for the ghost tour of Oxford (which happens year-round, incidentally,) and this comic more-or-less drew itself. The colouring was supported by a slice of apricot and lavender cake at the Bodleian’s new café.
I wonder if ghosts find sunshine as spooky as humans find darkness?
Polytunnels. One more thing to be scared of at the full moon. Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the turnips.
We went to the exhibition of Gothic art at the British Library last weekend: “Terror and Wonder – the Gothic Imagination.” Highly recommended.
UPDATE: Potential solution to the poly tunnel menace:
