So, as I mentioned, we went to see the exhibition of Francis Bacon and Henry Moore at the Ashmolean at the weekend.
I: Oh yes, Knee. And you liked the Francis Bacon?

We went to visit the new exhibition at the Ashmolean on Saturday — Henry Moore and Francis Bacon. I had fun trying to draw the sculptures, and I hope some of the sculptural drawing technique may have rubbed off into this comic.

Giraffe Riders! Part 1.
Welcome to my latest fit of whimsy, o long suffering readers. I’ve been studying giraffes (as you may know) for weeks, and here’s the first installment. To be continued! Thanks to AZ for inspiration for this idea.
cowboys on giraffes, riding hard through the desert, firing pistols. Vultures watch with interest (and ear defenders). Cactus, lizards and bleached bones in the sand.
I made this comic on my Android tablet, using Autodesk Inc.’s Sketchbook Pro for Tablets. It’s a little bit fiddly, but I think it came out all right.
I’d like to thank Karen for suggesting the comic.
I’ve no idea if it’s possible to smoothly plié in third. Maybe if you have fuel injection. I just like saying Royal Ballet School of Motoring.
